Kathleen and Simon Maddox, Spire Place

Kathleen and Simon Maddox originally planned to downsize from their four bedroom home of five years to a flat, but when they saw one of the new three bedroom homes at Asprey Homes’ Spire Place development in Warlingham, it helped them to realise that they were not ready for a smaller property.

Kathleen comments: “We had just started looking at three bedroom houses after discounting the idea of moving into a flat and my husband saw Spire Place mentioned in a local newspaper. In the past we have bought older properties but as our DIY skills are limited we wanted somewhere that would require minimal upkeep and Spire Place was perfect. The whole design and layout is something a bit special and it is really different to any of the other homes that we looked at. In terms of location we really couldn’t have wished for better and just love the semi-rural area.”

On the whole we have found this not to be the case and where there have been minor issues, someone has been sent along promptly to deal with our concerns quickly and efficiently.”
